Alabaster International is celebrating a historic milestone as the first cultivated Enset crop has been successfully harvested in Kenya. This achievement represents years of collaboration with research institutions and local partners to introduce the drought-resilient, climate-smart crop beyond its traditional growing regions in Ethiopia.
The successful harvest marks an important step toward strengthening food security, advancing agricultural innovation, and creating new opportunities for smallholder farmers across East Africa.
