Alabaster International is expanding its local presence with its first Orange County event, Her Light & Legacy, taking place May 15 in Costa Mesa. Hosted at Deli Nerds, the event introduces the organization’s global work while creating a space for community connection and engagement.
The day will include an all-day dine-out fundraiser, where a portion of food purchases will directly support Alabaster’s initiatives in East Africa and Sri Lanka. In the evening, guests will gather for a curated experience featuring light bites, meaningful storytelling, and remarks from founder Shannon Fernando-Rubera.
The event highlights Alabaster’s mission to advance healthcare, nutrition, and education through locally led programs designed for long-term impact. Attendees will also have opportunities to engage through interactive experiences, raffles, and giving initiatives.
